We decided to paint a few of those blocks William cut up for the boys.....I'm thinkin' a few here, a few there, and we should have them all painted by the end of the summer????

First batch, final product!
They enjoyed it.....Logan's favorite one is the one with his hand print on it!

Learning games on PBSKids.org.
Logan plays, Connor watches and sometimes plays the IPad next to him......

More block building fun - I'm tellin' ya, these are a HUGE hit with the boys!

Hours of fun outside on our back patio!

Mardi Gras!
We took the boys to their first Mardi Gras parade.....Logan was a little disappointed they were throwing beads and not candy.

Even though we arrived late (had to wait for the boys to wake up from their naps), we got a PERFECT spot in the "family section" (AKA: no drinking, no craziness) right on the road.  That might not seem too amazing until you consider that people started camping out along side the roads of the parade route three days prior!!

Sportin' our beads and toys!
Logan was wearing most of my beads, but towards the end of the evening said they were getting too heavy.

Just being cute.

More cuteness.

We went 'pet store hopping' today!
These black mollys loved Logan's finger.....and he loved sticking it in the tank!

At our first stop, we saw fish, birds, hamsters, chameleons, lizards, Guinea pigs, and mice.....and held a rat......didn't take a picture of that as I was sorta freaking out about it, but tried to maintain my composure for the boys.

And we played with a cat.

Now on to the next store.....We held bunnies....

....found Nemo....

......and held another kitten, a puppy, and a hamster.
This store even had a chinchilla for us to see and, several varieties of birds and reptiles.
