Susan was driving through Louisiana today and stopped for a visit.  We've been friends since we were 2 years old, but I haven't seen her since her wedding (when I was pregnant with Logan!).  It was GREAT to see her and her husband and catch up a bit.....

It was the first time she'd met my kids.....and they loved her to pieces!  It was "Susan this, and Susan that, and Susan look at my race car, etc etc."  Logan asked her for a hug and a kiss before she left.  It was pretty sweet.  They made a date to talk on skype about the movie Cars (once she goes home and watches it! hee hee!)  We'll chat with you soon, Susan!

We survived the "winter storm of 2014" in Louisiana!!!  

......Look close, that's snow on Jackson's back!!!  It' didn't stick, but you could see it coming down.

Then three days later we get this.....ICE!  

.....and the next morning we wake up to this.....ice-cycles and frozen grass!

They closed the base over this "dreaded amount of treacherous weather!"  Funny to us coming from Germany, but hey, I'll enjoy the day off work with my hubby!!

The boys have been sick for a week and a half now, so here's some more of our indoor activities!

Connor could even knock some down, but needed help loading his gun.

We missed the Lowe's Saturday morning project, but had two on hand at the house, so William helped the boys put them together.

That was fun, but next time I think I'll keep it on cookie sheets as it sorta took the sheen off my table!  OOPS!
