July....and we're FINALLY having some warm weather!  On our way to the base last week we stopped off to play in a field at the end of the runway and wait for planes......we left 4 minutes too soon to have one fly right over our heads, but we got to see it land from the car up close and personal.  Logan was impressed at how loud it was!

Connor, just being cute.

Last Saturday there was an "America Fest" celebration for the 4th of July.  Bouncy houses, train rides, a small petting zoo, and food.

Logan actually hit the target, but it wasn't strong enough, so the guy let him push the button to dunk the kid in the dunking booth!

4th of July!

Do you think Connor was a little hungry????

Cheetos......their new favorite!

Our anniversary was 5 July (six years!), so after taking the kids to America Fest and getting them good and tired, we put them to bed and had a babysitter come over (thanks Michelle!!!) so we could go out on a "date" to a little cafe for dinner and coffee.

It had a cute outdoor sitting area.

And we did a little wall climbing after dinner!  hee hee!

I think William got higher than I did!

Snack time at the pool one afternoon.  What?  You don't eat the banana peal along with your banana?

We went to the Heinsberg lake for a picnic today.......the ducks were a big hit.

A fun swing by the water.

Swans too!

A boardwalk that went out over the water.

He said, "Mom!, I'm in the jungle!"

Pretty and peaceful.

What's a fun day at the lake without throwing rocks?  The ducks stayed just out of firing range reach.

Picnic with Emily and Sophia

Ahhh, sweetness!
