Ok, I admit, I cried before taking this picture! It was the first time Logan ate a big boy meal! I didn't have to tear the sandwich or fries up into little pieces, and he drank milk like a little first grader would do!!!
He even knows how to dip fries in katsup!!!! Amazing what he picks up by watching us!
Makin a splash in his little pool Saturday afternoon.
All smiles in mom's lap!
Taking a ride in mom's market bag!
We went to see Castle Burg Eltz Sunday. It was about a 2.5 hour drive south. I think the most interesting thing about the castle was that it has been in the same family for 33 generations.
To get to the castle we had to walk the steepest paved road I've ever been on in my life! ......and yes, I was wearing heals! We could have taken the shuttle, but there was something about getting on a van with a bunch of old folks that made us push on!
My knight in shinning armor, holding Logan!
You'll have to forgive the big flash in the middle of this picture, but it's the best I could do from a poster in the information area!!! Unfortunately, they decided to re-do the roofing on the just about the entire castle this year, so in real life it was covered in scaffolding!!!! Bummer. AND to make bloging more difficult, there were no pictures allowed inside durring the tour! But trust me, it was amazing.
The country side......the drive along the way was beautiful!
Here's another castle we saw while trying to find the Berg Eltz.....we didn't stop at this one.
