Another month has flown by without weekly updates, so here's my attempt at re-capping the month!

There was a health awareness day on base and Logan and Connor got to tour a fire truck - they thought that was BIG TIME! 

I froze some of their toys in a block of ice thinking it would keep them occupied for a LONG time.......but they out smarted me!  Instead of using the plastic tools I gave them to chip away at the ice, they slammed the big chunk and broke it into tiny pieces that the 98 degree Louisiana weather melted super fast! Oh well, I tried!  

We went to Chucky Cheese for a friend's birthday party.

We've had friends over to play lots.  The neighbor girls are Logan and Connor's age....we bike ride together frequently.

Homeschool preschool is going well.  Lots of daily activities, but this was learning about magnetism....magnetic rocks hidden in the moon dough.

We went to the wiener dog races......strain all you want, but you can't see them in this picture, I took it after the race was over!  But they sure were cute to watch run!

Our library has these super cool blocks, so we built a fort, then read a stack of books inside!

Grandma and Grandpa came down for a visit.  They bought the family superman shirts - including ones for me and William!  Thanks mom and dad! 

We worked out in the yard!

 Mom and dad brought all sorts of plants and flowers from their yard....I hope they multiply next summer and look as nice as the ones back in Tennessee!  Thanks for helping our yard look prettier!

I bought the kids this polaris battery operated four wheeler and they LOVE LOVE LOVE it! 

We've got empty fields by the house and they love taking it off roading!  Puts a smile on my face every time!

Since mom and dad were in town, William and I took advantage of the free babysitters and went to see Phil Robertson at the CentryLink Center

Evidently this display was super impressive to hunters....so I took a picture with them!

While the grandparents are here Logan usually sleeps on the floor next to Connor's bed.....but one night I found them like this - so sweet they wanted to be together!

Soccer has started again!

Hudson is one of his favorite on the team.....sometimes I see him looking for Hudson on the field rather than the ball! hee hee!

Grandma and Grandpa took us out for doughnuts after the first big game of the season, even though we lost.

William and I squeaked in another date night before Grandma and Grandpa left......we ALL went to get pizza and chicken fingers and play air hockey first, then the boys went with Grandma and Grandpa to get ice cream while William and I went to the movies.  Thanks SOOOO much for helping us have some hubby/wife time!
