Last week William went bike riding with some guys from work, and we met him for lunch at a little cafe outside the back gate of the base.....which happens to be right next to the quarry.

Logan was beside himself with excitement!

We drove to Bonn, Germany Friday to see streets lined with beautiful cherry trees.  William was a trooper, as driving an hour to look at trees and take pictures wasn't his thing, but I think he really enjoyed it too!

We found this water fountain, and other than the trees, I think that was the highlight of our trip!  

Milkshakes were the next best thing!

After the milkshakes, it was back to the water fountain for more fun!

Mom says, "Hey cowboy, don't run so fast, you might slip....."

Logan replies, "I'm SOAKIN' wet mom!"

What fun is a water fountain if you don't fall belly first into it??!

Beth (right) had her going away dinner in Sittard at a Thai restaurant.  She assured me it wouldn't be too hot......but MY ENTIRE FACE WAS ON FIRE!  But it was a fun night!

We met up at the park for a last play date.

We went to a horse show in Neiderbush.  Every time Connor saw one he would point and "NEEEEE"

I thought this was the prettiest horse there.

And of corse, Logan found a tractor to ride!

Playing in the sand at Cafe Liege.  It's just a short bike ride from our house - the food is good, the ice cream is YUMMY, and best of all the boys enjoy the digging and playing in the sand.

The water pump wasn't on that day.....I was sorta glad as that is one muddy mess to clean up!

The cafe also has a little pond out front with turtles and fish.

They like to touch them.

A Sunday afternoon walk.

This just brought joy to my heart.

It was so beautiful outside!

We found some tall grass and Logan said, "I'm prowling Mom!"

Connor was all giggles when Daddy jumped up out of the grass and surprised him!

Jackson enjoyed the tall grass too.....had to jump pretty high to see where he was going!  Made us all laugh.

We went over to Beth's guesthouse this morning to see them off.  The boys got to play one last time.....buckets, water, rocks = BIG FUN!  And they got to jump on a trampoline, pet a cat, blow bubbles, kick a soccer ball, and eat waffles and doughnuts!
