BIRTHDAY!
We went to play over at Beth's house yesterday and she had cupcakes (her son, Liam, has a birthday this week too!) so the boys practiced blowing out candles for their big day.
The joy in their faces makes me smile!
William's birthday surprise.....a breakfast of eggs, cinnamon rolls, protein shake, and coffee....and a packed lunch, and art projects from the boys. The cup - the kids drew on it with a sharpie marker and then I baked it in the oven to 'set' it....we'll see if it says on or not! Then they each made him a card with a hand print and art work inside......and the bigger hand print picture I hope to laminate and use as a placemat - Daddy's hands and one of each of the kids. Oh, and Logan also painted a canvas with the left over paint!
I wish I could have gotten a picture of these before they started blowing them out....it was a small kitchen fire! The cinnamon rolls were so hot they were melting the candles!
A half way decorated kitchen......Logan got up early and I didn't get to finish!
He enjoyed the cinnamon rolls too!
Logan open our gifts this morning and we'll open the others this evening once William gets off work. He carried this keyboard around the store the past three times we've seen it there......so I had to bring it home!
And the scooter he wanted!
Enjoying both gifts at the same time and ensuring Connor won't touch either of them!
Decorated and mostly cleaned up kitchen.
Brothers having fun.
Liam came over this morning and the boys played cars.....
.....trains.....
.....gave me a concert.....
......and ate dirt worm pudding....
It was a good celebration!
Not sure what happened with the green in the picture, but Tami, this is for you......no where near your expertise!
The birthday boy with a piece of cake.
Dinner with MORE candles.....we blew out candles for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!
William's dinner candle.
Opening presents from family - our evening party!
Bedtime, reading the new books from Grandma Patti and Papa Bill.
I'm so thankful these boys were born 40 and 3 years ago. I love them to pieces.
