These vacation pictures are a little out of order, but you'll get the idea....I took 923 total, so I did my best to narrow down some of my favorites! Our seven day cruise from Italy to Greece was BEAUTIFUL to say the least.....but I'll get to that in a minute....I got the boys matching PJs for the trip - aren't they cute?!?
And I think it's even cuter that they sleep alike!!! Awe!
Here we are in the airport getting ready for our big adventure. Logan was SOOOO excited to be on a plane! He said "Mooommmy, Mommmmyyy, Mommmmy, PLANE, PLANE, PLANE!" It was so cute! But I think the people in front of us were wondering if he was going to stop before we landed in Venice! We stayed 2 nights in Venice, Italy before the cruise, and one night in Treviso, Italy after the cruise.
Ahhhh Santorini, Greece.....my favorite stop on our trip! It was stunningly fabulous! Santorini is situated at the top of volcanic cliffs. You either ride a donkey or a ski lift type trolly to the top.... unless you want to brave the steep incline and avoid donkey droppings! (which we did on the way down as the trolly line was ridiculous!)
The view from a cafe.
While in Santorini we went to a winery, and let me just say I wish could have had more than a few sips (I'm nursing) because the wines were DE-LI-CIOUS!
Breathtaking.....and it was even prettier in person!
Another Santorini typical view.
Yes, it was a little windy in Santorini. Do you see the blue dome behind us? That's very typical on the island as domes on houses are required. They don't get much rain, so the rain they do get is collected and purified for drinking.
Santorini from afar.
A typical view from our ship pulling into Greek ports. We were supposed to stop in Bari, Italy and Katakloon, Greece but were unable to port due to high winds and rough seas....and William and I chose not to disembark at Dubrovnik, Croatia and Mykonos, Greece because it was raining, and our boys were exhausted. But we did see Venice, Italy, Piraeus (Athens), Corfu, and Santorini, Greece.
We visited this coffee bar on the ship quite often.....Logan enjoyed having the foam off my cappuccinos!
Catching some rays on the ship deck.....it was sunny, but still a bit cool for swimming. However, William and Logan braved the cold water on the ship and swam one afternoon.
Playing on the back deck of the 8th floor of the ship.
William and Logan looking out the porthole window in our room - it was big enough for a person to sit in, so we put pillows up there for Logan to play.
This is the 13/14th floor of the ship where the pools, hot tub, track, gym, and coffee bar were located.
Playing with the life saver! And speaking of life saving devices.....Logan accidently kicked his shoe off from the top deck and it happened to land on a life boat six decks below - how it didn't end up in the ocean, I HAVE NO IDEA, but thank God, because it was the only pair of tennis shoes Logan has! William asked a woker, who asked his manager, who called a maintenance guy to go out on the life boat (attached to the side of the ship) and retrieve his shoe!
Fruit art!
Looking at the water in Venice, Italy.
San Marco Square, Venice, Italy....we sat at a cafe for 2 hours sipping cappuccino (for me), beer (for William), water (for Logan), and milk (for Connor) while people watching. It was such a relaxing afternoon!
Here's Logan getting a taste of my gelato.....
.....and here he has commendeered my gelato! Needless to say he likes ice cream! Every time we would pass a gellato stand Logan would hollar "CREAM CREAM CREAM!"
Venice scenery.
A family photo in Venice. Logan is in the backpack carrier, and I've got Connor in a front baby carrier.
Stopping for a sip from a Venice water fountain!
Palm trees in Athens, Greece......I never would have pictured Greece with so many palm trees!
Ancient Greek ruins in Athens, Greece. I took lots of ruins pictures on our walking tour of Athens, but decided to only put two on the blog.
This was so cute to me! In Corfu, Greece we walked through a monastery, and all Logan cared to see was the 20+ cats that lived there! He wanted to pet and hold all of them. "Kitty kitty kitty hooold"
And in Athens, Greece, his favorite thing was feeding the pigeons! William bought bird food from a guy on the streets, and we were swarmed by at least 40 pigeons!
A family picture at a look out point in Corfu, Greece.....as a side note, that's where we had the best baklava!
Testing the water at the beach in Corfu, Greece.....yup, it was FREEZING!
How would you like to go to this church?!! I think it was called Mouse Island.
This was the view from that lookout point a few pictures above - it was lots higher than what this looks like, but I was amazed at how clear the water was!
The look on Logan's face in this picture cracks me up!
The most handsome boys I know!
The food of Greece......fluffy bread with olive oil and balsamic vinager dip, wine, and cappuccino!
Fried cheese balls.
A cheesy something with chives and a raspberry sauce....this one was at the super fancy hotel we stayed at in Treviso, Italy.
Chocolate cake (with a gooey chocolate sauce center) with strawberries and ice cream - another delight from our BHR Treviso hotel.
A fun family shot on the streets of Corfu.
Looked thru the pics again. LOVE THEM! Looks like a SUPER great time! I'm so glad you guys went! You all are a BEAUTIFUL family! You have really good camera/clarity/color on your pics...unless it's just that pretty over there!
