We took a camping trip to Ana Friso, Zeeland (on the edge of the North Sea) this past weekend for two nights.....it was beautiful and lots of fun! I've posted LOTS of pictures from the event!Flowers at our camp ground. The North Sea. Our camp ground was at the bottom of the hill from this pretty site.Oysters at low tide in the North Sea.The beach. The North Sea.What a cute camping family! .....and Logan already knows bungie cords are essential!Story time with mom in the tent.Playing "patty-cake" with Aubrie.Gettin' the grills fired up for some burgers!!We rented 2 of these John Deer tractors to ride around - 2 euros each for the day.....it was fun for all the kids! The boys rigged some shade and saved us all from sun burn one afternoon! We packed 3 tents and a little half tent on one camp site.....every other lot at the camp ground had been rented! Definitely not like camping in America......this was more like camping in a trailor park! But still lots of fun! Our camp site screamed "American" with our tents, hanging laundry, and camp fire! What's camping with out smores!??Sitting around the camp fire......did I mention we were the ONLY ones in the whole place with a camp fire? They are technically illegal here in Europe at most camp grounds. Ahhhh, love love.On our way to take a walk on the beach.Checkin' out the sea gulls with Mom!Takin' a ride with Dad! A family picture at the North Sea, Zeeland.William and Logan in the North Sea! Burrrrr it was REALLY cold!Logan had a long hard day of playing and just passed out in dad's arms as we took a walk.A group shot of the campers near the water. We set up our half tent in an open field by the water - played frisbee and botche ball, and the kids played in the grass. Logan laughed everytime we tossed the frisbee. We took a John Deer ride along the coast!Logan enjoyed picking all the little daisy flowers along the way! Pick and throw, pick and throw. The girls took a walk along the beach at sunset while the guys played another game of boche ball.Holding the sun!Sunset over the water.
