So Dad, Mom, Logan and I took off down the autobahn on a two hour trip towards Keukenhoff Gardens (famous for the tulips) but didn't quite make it due to a blown tire - it's amazing I didn't lose control when it happened as we were traveling close to 90 miles an hour! I thank God dad was with me and able to get the spare on - even with traffic wizzing by a foot away! William called the Mercedes hot line who directed us to the nearest dealership.......We waited an hour and a half at the first dealership for them to locate the size tire we needed....which happend to be at another dealership 15 minutes away....so off we went again!!! At the next dealership we ate croissants and fruit, and drank coffee as we waited another couple hours for them to get the tires (had to buy 2 since they were a different brand from the original set) put on! Here's another kicker - none of us brought our credit cards along, so we couldn't pay for the tires!!!! We had to leave our passports and promise to return the next day to pay the bill in full! After it was all said and done, we took a 10 hour trip to visit 2 Mercedes dealerships in the Netherlands the first day, and drove back the next day to go get our passports! Who wanted to see stupid tulips anyway?!! Mom came with me one evening to the women's Program Night with the ladies from church at Bagles and Beans (the German equilivant to Panera!) and was able to meet all my buddies!Wiliam took Dad along on the men's work trip to Antwerp, Belgium to help remodel an apartment that will be used as a ministry outreach center to individuals in the red light district.
