William got to open one of his Christmas gifs early......I knew he would need them this evening!!! We went to our first German Christmas Market.....in Heinsberg!!!!! It was snowy and cold, but we dressed in layers and of course William in his new glove/mittens! The market was so cute! There was a huge Christmas tree with lights, a merry-go-round, and lots of food and shopping booths. We really had a great time! We sampled the food.....

We also tried the Heinsberg Gluhwein (hot cider wine with ameretto)! The cup was a souviner! We're standing in front of the merry-go-round!Jackson was having a great time eating up all the crumbs people dropped! Then we walked to the old church on top of the hill to check out the "Candle Light Market"....it was a bit more "old school" as people were dressed up in medival costumes. They had music..... and there was a glass blower....
