These pictures are from an American War Memorial we visited. It was absolutely breath taking and awe inspiring. Tears welled up in our eyes as we remembered the overwhelming sacrifice for our freedom.

Local families volunteer to take care of the grave sites. While we were there one family placed this rose on a grave and took a picture to send back to the loved ones in the States.

There were so many crosses.......and that wasn't even a fraction of the lives that have been given.

The water was peaceful.

There were two walls with names listed, this is just a portion of one wall.
